Grant Information
Grant Amount:
Grants range from $2,500 to $50,000, covering up to 50% of eligible project costs, for small businesses in South Australia.
The total project cost must be between $5,000 and $100,000 (excluding GST).
Eligibility:
Available to small businesses with an ABN and registered for GST.
The business must be located in South Australia and consume less than 160MWh of electricity per year or have a payroll of less than $1.5 million.
Eligible Projects:
Includes energy efficiency upgrades such as installing solar panels with battery storage, upgrading lighting to LEDs, replacing HVAC systems with more efficient models, and installing energy monitoring systems.
Application Process:
Applications are open until 29 November 2024 or until funds are exhausted.
A maximum of one application per ABN is allowed, but multiple eligible activities can be included within one application.
Reimbursement:
Reimbursement is provided after the project is completed, upon submission of valid invoices, proof of payment, and a Certificate of Compliance for installations.
